Quick Chicken Potato Gravy

Ingredients:
- 400g chicken (boneless or bone-in)
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 2 tbsp oil
- onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- /4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 1.5 cups water
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Quick Method:
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker or deep pan. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add tomatoes and cook for 2–3 minutes until soft.
- Mix in turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.
- Add chicken and potato pieces, stir to coat with the masala.
- Add water, cover, and cook:
- Pressure cooker: 2–3 whistles on medium flame.
- Pan: Cover and simmer for 20–25 mins until chicken and potatoes are cooked.
- Once done, add garam masala, simmer for 2 mins.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
